All are welcome

I welcome clients from all backgrounds, including those who are racialized and marginalized, queer, gender-diverse, neurodivergent, or have visible or invisible disabilities.

Trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and justice-centred

My approach blends Indigenous focusing therapy, DBT, narrative therapy, and solution-focused work to help you understand emotions in your body, manage intense feelings, reshape your story, and take practical steps forward. I specialize in supporting people healing from trauma and painful family experiences while exploring how identity, culture, and lived experiences shape their healing journey.

 FAQs

Common questions about therapy, confidentiality, and how we work together.

  • Yes. I offer both in-person and online sessions. Many clients find virtual sessions work well for their schedule and comfort level. We can discuss what works best for you.

  • There's no right way to do this. We start where you are, move at your pace, and I'll explain what to expect. The first session is often about getting to know each other and seeing if we're a good fit.

  • Yes, with very few exceptions. I'm bound by professional confidentiality. The main exceptions are if you're at risk of harming yourself or others, or if there's abuse of a child or vulnerable adult involved.

  • How long you come depends on your goals and needs. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others continue a bit longer. We’ll check in along the way and adjust as needed.

  • I don't ask you to leave parts of yourself at the door. Your culture, identity, and community are woven into every session. We talk about how these shape your experiences, your relationships, and your healing.
